Founded in 2006 by Noelle Sanders in Phoenix, Arizona, Del Sol Group (DSG) provides environmental consulting services to Federal, State, local agencies and private entities seeking compliance with applicable laws, regulations and local ordinances.

Our environmental projects involve the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), Endangered Species Act, Clean Water Act and National Historic Preservation Act.  DSG has prepared numerous Environmental Assessments (EAs) for federal, state, and local agencies as well as Categorical Exclusions (CE) for the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) and other entities.

We prepare environmental documentation including Environmental Impact Statements, Environmental Assessments and Categorical Exclusions.  Resources reviewed under NEPA typically include:

  • Cultural Resources – archaeological/historic resources
  • Natural Environment – biological, floodplains, Section 404
  • Physical/Construction – utilities, hazardous materials, air quality, noise
  • Agency Scoping/Public Involvement
  • Socioeconomic Resources – Title VI/EJ populations, displacements, development
  • Visual Resources

DSG provides Clean Water Act compliance including Section 401 and 404 permitting, habitat planning, mitigation and monitoring.  DSG also provides Endangered Species Act compliance including species surveys, habitat mapping and native plant surveys.

DSG coordinates extensively with archaeologists for National Historic Preservation Act compliance including Class III surveys, AZSITE/ASM site file research, site testing and data recovery.
